The Energy of Saturn

What is the Energy of Saturn? Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and is the second largest planet in the solar system. Saturn rules labor, careers, work, time, stages of humanity, and the physical.

Saturn rules Capricorn, co-ruling Aquarius (Oranus). His rising sign is Scorpius (Venus’s detriment), and his fall sign is Athena [Aries] (Sun’s rising sign and Mars’s domicile). Saturn’s detriment is Cancer (Moon’s domicile) and the female huntress [Leo] (Sun’s domicile). The number of Saturn is 3, and the square sum is 45. The ruling metal of Saturn is lead. In astrotheology, Saturn is Satan. The names of Saturn are El (the Saturn God), Jehovah, the Biblical God, and Yahweh. Saturn is all-male and absolutely not female in any way. Saturn is the ruler of the Beast. The chromosome of the Beast is 66 (6+6=12; 1+2=3). So, the number of the Beast is 66, not 666. Saturn lacks any psychic powers and emotions because of it.

Saturn rules the base chakra and the color black. The base chakra deals with nehf (life), and fear blocks the base chakra.

Saturn is one of the eight astrological planets that undergo a planetary retrograde. Saturn stays retrograde annually for about 4 1/2 months. Whenever there is a Saturn Retrograde, the energies go within. This is also the good time to check your nehf, your labor, and your career.

Saturn takes about 29.5 years to revolve around the sun. Between every 27 to 30 years, everyone undergoes a Saturn return. A Saturn return is when the planet Saturn returns to your Saturn-natal chart. Of course, everyone knows solar returns as “birthdays”. A Saturn return is a cosmic transitional period that you undergo a physical change from a child to an adult, an adult to mature, or mature to wise, and so on. This time period also allows you to check your nehf and your career. If you are not happy with your work and/or life, you can change them. Resisting the Saturn Return can result in losing your job or worsening your life.
